As an Investment Analyst you will work on one of the two direct investment teams within BPC: Co-Investments.
You will be required to support Investment Managers and Senior Investment Managers on deals and have demonstrated capability in this area. You will also be expected to work across the range of activities of BPC, working with investment colleagues based in the London and Sheffield offices, and liaising with legal, risk, finance, and external advisors.
Key aspect of the role will include sourcing, building and assessing the pipeline of potential direct equity investments, analysing data on potential investee companies and completing appraisal and due diligence of new co-investment opportunities such as financial and investment analysis.
With experience of working in professional services or venture capital, you will also be able to demonstrate an interest in technology and venture capital, and experience in analysing datasets. Experience in startups, venture capital or fund-of-funds is also desirable.
