Our sister company, Systemiq, is a leading climate consultancy with over 400 people advising leading corporates and industry coalitions in their sustainable transition towards a net zero world. We are fortunate to have influential and dedicated climate figures in our LP network.  

We are recruiting a Platform - Operations Associate to support fundraising and investor relations, run events and get stuck in as a core member of the operations/platform team. This role will report to our COO.

What you'll do

• Help shape and drive the fundraising process which includes investor communications and day-to-day investor relations tasks
• Be responsible for Systemiq Capital Newsletter
• Ideate, curate and manage Systemiq Capital events. These events are usually focused around an area of deep knowledge for Systemiq Capital and bring together a carefully curated attendee list
• Support members of the Systemiq Capital investment team attend and participate in leading industry events (Climate Weeks, the Drop, VC events etc)
• Support the delivery of our Climate Impact and ESG approach, including our annual Climate Report
• Plan and execute a sub-set of Operations team tasks and relationships e.g., outsourced IT
• Join an exceptional team of passionate, curious and diverse people dedicated to our mission.

Requirements

Who you are

• 3+ years work experience, including prior operations, events and/or investor relations experience
• Excel in getting-things-done in a highly organised manner
• Are enthusiastic about ideating, curating, and organising events around a meaningful theme that builds attendee engagement
• Can operate independently with an entrepreneurial spirit. You are proactive in your work - you know when to engage your managers / stakeholders and when you need to just get on with it!
• Thrive at relationship-building and have a track record of quickly building trust with senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of the climate sector and ecosystem is a plus!

Benefits

• Salary range: up to £60,000 (depending on seniority) + discretionary bonus
• Location: London (preferred)
