Your Role as a Venture Analyst:
As a Venture Analyst at Savant, you'll play a crucial role across Savant’s portfolio, with a particular focus on financial strategy and market analysis. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting market research and developing financial models for investment decisions.
- Hands-on involvement with Savant’s portfolio companies, driving the execution of financial and business strategies.
- Supporting corporate innovation initiatives in mining and beyond through detailed financial analysis.
- Contributing to a wide range of tasks associated with Savant’s mandate and general activities, including due diligence and portfolio management.
Requirements:
- An advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or Business, such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or a related field.
- Strong financial and analytical skills, with a deep understanding of venture capital and startup ecosystems.
- Experience in conducting detailed financial analysis and market research.
- An understanding of technology and hardware is advantageous.
- Proven critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- A friendly, optimistic go-getter and self-starter with a desire to work in a startup and venture capital environment.
