Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Venture Capital Analyst to join our team. The analyst will primarily conduct initial due diligence on prospective investments, quantitatively analyze reference markets, and evaluate exit opportunities. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about startups, the Web3 sector, entrepreneurship, and venture capital.
Key Responsibilities:
Initial Due Diligence:
- Conduct preliminary assessments of prospective investment opportunities.
- Analyse business models, financial statements, competitive landscapes, and market positioning.
- Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings and initial recommendations.
Market Analysis:
- Perform quantitative analysis of reference markets to understand trends, growth potential, and market dynamics.
- Identify key players, emerging technologies, and potential disruptors in relevant industries.
- Compile market research reports to support investment decisions.
Financial Analysis:
- Build and maintain financial models to project future company performance.
- Analyse financial statements and key performance indicators (KPIs) of prospective investments.
- Assess the financial health and scalability of potential portfolio companies.
Team and community support:
- Assist with the preparation of investment memos and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in meetings with entrepreneurs, industry experts, and co-investors.
- Support senior team members in various ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and financial statement analysis.
- Excellent research and market analysis capabilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

- Proficiency in English
