Analyst / Associate (f/m/d)

We are seeking a talented and motivated analyst /associate to become an integral part of our investment team. If you are naturally curious, ambitious, and passionate about identifying and cultivating promising early-stage business opportunities, this is the role for you. In this position, you will engage in various investment processes within a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment, collaborating closely with diverse stakeholders and visionary founders. Based in either Zurich, Berlin or London, you will be part of an ambitious and international team.

Your mission:

• Sourcing, identifying and evaluating investment opportunities with focus on scientific companies;
• Contributing to and supporting our deal flow and associated processes;
• Support structuring, negotiating and executing investments;
• Working directly with executives of our portfolio companies;
• Developing expertise across redalpine’s investment sectors;
• Representing and developing redalpine’s brand while expanding its network.

Your profile:

• Excellent academic track record: PhD or equivalent advanced education in Life Sciences or a similar subject, ideally combined with computational expertise, from a top tier university.
• Self-starter: You have demonstrated an entrepreneurial mindset in various roles within the relevant sector. Prior founder or co-founder experience is a strong plus.
• You have relevant previous experience in the VC space, are familiar with the entrepreneurial ecosystem, have started to build a strong network, and are familiar with the VC terminology and processes.
• You are a proactive and goal-oriented digital native with great analytical skills who thrives in a high-performance culture and is ready to go the extra mile.
• Open-minded, communicative and outgoing team player; fast-learner who is a good listener.
• Fluency in English and basic German skills are a must.
