We are now looking for a Paris based Associate to join our European investment team (fulltime, CDI)!
Responsibilities
This is a full-time role as an Associate (M/F) in Venture Capital at Ventech, located in Paris. As an Associate, your day-to-day tasks will involve supporting the investment team in evaluating potential investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and assisting portfolio companies in their growth strategies. You will work closely with the senior team members and gain exposure to all aspects of venture capital investing.
· Sourcing high quality, early stage deal-flow
· Building network among founders, seed and venture funds
· Analysing & presenting opportunities to the investment team
· Identify industry trends & investment patterns
· Improving the deal-flow process
· Help partners in deal due diligence
· Coach Analysts/Interns
Qualifications
· Top graduate from reputable university in technology, business or finance
· Self-motivated, ambitious and excellent at team work
· Strong financial and business modeling skills. Strong analytical capabilities.
· General curiosity for new ideas & solving problems
· Expert level communication / presenting skills
· Outstanding work ethic and attention to detail
· Experience in venture fund and/or startups is a plus (0-2 Years)
· Fluent in French & English, additional languages a plus
