We are seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial-minded individual to join our team as an Associate. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about entrepreneurship, innovation, and building new ventures from the ground up. You will work closely with our team to develop and scale startup ideas, manage project execution, and support strategic initiatives.
Job Description:
- Identify, meet and screen companies for potential investments (deal sourcing)
- Assist in the ideation, research, and validation of new business opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop business plans and go-to-market strategies
- Conduct due diligence on early stage technology companies and market research on tech sub-sectors and landscapes
- Identify and propose the right investment thesis and value creation opportunities
- Assist Principal/VP/Partner with portfolio management activities
- Develop relationships with the broader technology and start-up communities (companies, entrepreneurs, VCs, private equity funds etc.)
- Engage with potential partners, investors, and stakeholders to drive venture growth
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to ensure successful venture scaling
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business/Finance or related fields
- 1-3 years of working experience in a Venture Capital/Private Equity/Investment Bank/Top-Tier Consultancy with PE/VC/Deals/M&A focus, or related experience
- Passion for the technology industry
- Ex-startup professionals/founders is a plus
- Have an entrepreneurial mindset with strong passion for technology and start-ups
- Familiar with financial analysis, financial modeling, market analysis and industry research
- Effective communication with interpersonal skills to deal with multiple stakeholders across different backgrounds
