Diligence and deals:
- Assume full ownership of key due diligence (DD) workstreams (e.g. market sizing, competition, product DD, business model analysis, team DD, expert calls, etc).
- Participate actively in meetings with (serial) entrepreneurs, investors, and C-level personnel. Support in negotiation and structuring of investments.
Sourcing:
- Identify and evaluate attractive investment opportunities.
Entrepreneurial sparring:
- Work together with ambitious serial and aspiring founders on ideation & validation of their next venture in the pre-seed stage.
Portfolio Operations:
- Continuously collaborate with Picus' portfolio companies as their strategic & operational sparring partner.
New perspectives:
- Bring new perspectives to Picus and constantly challenge the status quo of how we operate (e.g. internal automation, networking, expanding investment focus to new industries etc.).
Growth:
- Independently execute due diligence work streams for later-stage investments (typically Series A - D) ranging from commercial due diligence to financial due diligence performing valuation analyses and assessing financial risks.
- Support Picus fundraising efforts by collaborating with leading institutional investors.

Background:
- You have a proven track record of academic excellence, consistently ranking in the top percentile of your class at a leading educational institution.
- Prior professional experience in Top Tier Strategy Consulting, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital, or Start-ups
- 0-3 years of full-time work experience.
- Very strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
