providing structured liquidity to founders and other key stakeholders. Additionally, we participate in primary financing rounds and

Position Description
This professional will work closely with the investor relations, investment, and finance teams on communications with limited
partners (LPs), fundraising initiatives, and marketing. The ideal candidate is an extremely organized, proactive, process-oriented,
and experienced multi-tasker with strong communication skills.
Position Responsibilities
● Document and maintain all aspects of investor and prospective investor information and communications
● Own CRM (Affinity) lists, data, and organization
● Manage fundraising processes, including LP funnel, various LP lists, and data room access
● Partner with Head of Investor Relations on all aspects of fundraising initiatives including strategy and travel
● Interface and correspond with a variety of existing and prospective LPs and act as the primary point of contact for
investor inquiries
● Research, organize, and produce content to communicate 137 Ventures’ strategy and track record to LPs, including
presentations, case studies, and due diligence documents
● Collaborate on preparation of newsletters, annual meeting materials, and other content-based communications
● Assist in organizing investor events, including LP events and annual meetings
● Conduct portfolio update calls to LPs on value drivers, new investments, recent exits, and fund-level performance
● Coordinate with investment and finance teams to compile and analyze investment-related material to build
investor and marketing materials
● Lead firm initiatives, including creating new marketing materials and organizing LP outreach
Experience Requirements
● 1-3 years previous experience in an investor relations, marketing, or investment-related role
● General understanding of venture capital firms and the tech industry
● Exceptional oral and written communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
● Tech savvy with extensive experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), Google Apps, and a working
knowledge of website platforms
● Exceptional organizational skills, detail-oriented, and ability to handle multiple and ever-changing priorities
● Background in managing relational databases (Affinity, Salesforce, other CRMs, etc.) and operational systems
● Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment while also working independently
● Capacity to work weekends and outside office hours as needed
● Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
● A positive attitude and professional demeanor
