We are looking for a talented and motivated individual to join our venture capital fund team as an Associate focused on fund raising for the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the investment landscape in the MENA region, as well as a passion for building relationships with potential investors and raising capital for our fund.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Investor outreach and relationship management: Identify and engage with potential investors, including family offices, institutional investors, and high-net-worth individuals, to present our fund's investment thesis and build relationships.
2. Fund marketing and materials preparation: Assist in the preparation of marketing materials, pitch decks, and other collateral to effectively communicate our fund's strategy, track record, and value proposition to potential investors.
3. Due diligence and investor communications: Coordinate and support the due diligence process for prospective investors, including responding to inquiries, providing information, and managing communications to ensure a smooth and efficient fundraising process.
4. Fundraising strategy and execution: Contribute to the development and execution of the fund's overall fundraising strategy, including setting targets, identifying key milestones, and tracking progress against fundraising goals.
5. Market research and analysis: Stay informed about market trends, investor sentiment, and regulatory developments in the MENA region to inform our fundraising strategy and identify potential opportunities and challenges.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field. MBA or CFA is a plus.
• 2-4 years of experience in fundraising, investor relations, or business development within the financial services industry, with a focus on the MENA region.
• Strong understanding of the investment landscape and investor preferences in the MENA region.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex investment concepts and tailor messaging to different investor audiences.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with investors and other stakeholders.
• Fluency in Arabic is a plus.
