Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Analyst / Associate to join our team on a project-based assignment as a starting point. As an Analyst / Associate, you will leverage your VC experience to identify, evaluate, and support promising investment opportunities on a global scale. You love taking a deal from the initial analysis through to drawing up the investment memo, including working directly with the company. Your competitive advantage is be speed while maintaining an uncompromising level of execution. You are best at finding needles in haystacks.
You will:
- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and investment opportunities.
- Evaluate potential investments through detailed financial modeling, due diligence, and competitive analysis.
- Prepare and present investment proposals and strategic recommendations to VSV leadership.
- Collaborate with portfolio companies to support their growth and strategic initiatives.
- Monitor and report on the performance of investments, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
You have:
- Proven experience (3 years minimum) in a similar or more senior role within a venture capital fund.
- Supported or lead deals in the past that have seen success
- Strong analytical skills with a profound understanding of financial modeling and market analysis.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Passion for innovation and a keen interest in emerging technologies.
- Unique proficiency with spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as deal flow CRMs.
- Technical background is an advantage.
- Experience working for a CVC is an advantage.
