We invest in early-stage startups, our investment focus is largely sector-agnostic, having invested in companies alongside top European funds, like AiMotive, Colossyan, FlowX.AI, Animoca Brands, Material Exchange, Orqa and many more.
We are looking for an associate to join us with the launch of our new fund. As our future colleague, you will be responsible for building a pipeline of potential investments, taking part in the investment process, and actively engaging with the portfolio companies through business development initiatives and controlling tasks, including the review and analysis of their reported financial data, as well as monitoring and reporting on fund performance and KPIs.
Your Responsibilities are:
- Monitor and understand the venture and technology markets
- Research and source investment opportunities and analyze potential investments
- Build your network across the CEE region with entrepreneurs, angel investors, and fellow VCs
- Compile financial models and perform commercial due diligence
- Manage transaction processes
- Work closely with the founders and top management of our investments, driving business development initiatives that support their growth
- Oversee the financial progress of the portfolio by analyzing reported data and ensuring accuracy
- Monitor, analyze, and report fund performance to key stakeholders
- Challenge us on how to be a better investor
- Take charge of internal projects
Required background and skills:
Hard skills:
- Solid understanding of venture capital market dynamics and industry trends
- Background in accounting standards, with experience in analyzing and interpreting financial statements
- General understanding of financial modeling
- Advanced skills in analytical and presentation tools, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluency in English and Hungarian.
Soft skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and communicate effectively in complex situations, both online and offline.
- Passion for technology markets, with the ability to quickly understand trends and explore new verticals daily.
- Highly analytical mindset
- Proactive attitude with an ownership mindset
- 2–3 years of experience as a founder or operator in a high-growth startup, consulting, M&A, PE, or VC.

The position is full-time and based in Budapest with regular traveling across Europe.
