The Role
Director of Investor Relations
Navitas is seeking a Director to lead investor relations for the firm, including marketing, fundraising, investor management and communications. Successful candidates for this role will be mid-senior level professionals with a well-rounded skillset across IR-related functional areas, including excellent oral and written communication, project management, and attention to detail. This person will work with firm leadership to develop and execute the firm’s fundraising and investor relations activities.
Responsibilities:
Investor Relations & Client Management
- Establish, cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective investors, fostering trust and confidence in Navitas’ performance, team, domain expertise, and position in the market.
- Act as the primary contact for investors, addressing inquiries, providing consistent updates, and maintaining open lines of communication.
- Work with senior professionals across the firm to provide timely and accurate marketing and diligence support to limited partners / existing investors.
- Lead LP communications, meetings, and calls to present fund performance, portfolio details, and market updates.
- Organize investor meetings, conference calls, and presentations for Partners.
- Monitor and ensure accurate data in VC performance databases.
Fundraising
- Drive and manage the fundraising process for new funds. Lead business development and marketing efforts.
- Direct the team re: fundraising timeline and be responsible for weekly internal meetings as well as coordinating external calls and meetings with LPs and prospects.
- Identify and nurture new prospective LP relationships (includes new strategics, as well as all types of institutional investors and family offices). Share the Navitas story and qualify / engage prospects. Manage the entire investor lifecycle: from prospect identification, outreach, due diligence to performance reporting and ongoing relationship management.
- Leverage any existing relationships and lead the effort to broaden reach to institutional investors (fund of funds, pension funds, endowments, foundations, sovereign wealth funds).
- Cultivate, maintain and grow relevant consultant relationships.
- Per below, oversee the coordination of materials for fundraising efforts.
- Complete due diligence questionnaires for Partner review.
- Conduct research on investor trends, competitor funds, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities and anticipate investor / prospect needs.
Marketing & Collateral
- Oversee the creation of all marketing collateral which may include quarterly reports, presentations, investor letters, portfolio analytics / updates, private placement memorandums, pitchbooks, fundraising letters / emails. Materials will be high-impact and clearly communicate Navitas’ unique value proposition and competitive advantages.
- Constantly improve upon the representation of analytics, metrics, and data utilized in presentations to support LP and prospect fundraising efforts. Drive content creation.
- Coordinate distribution of investor / prospect communications, including quarterly updates, newsletters, and market insights. As needed, manage tailored marketing materials for a given audience. Manage database to track which prospects received specific content.
- Lead / support the team in creating Annual Meeting materials.
- Ensure investor communications are consistent with regulatory requirements.

- 8+ years of fundraising and investor relations within venture capital or private equity
