Role:
We are seeking an outstanding intern for Fall 2024 to work on a thesis about the frontiers of
computing – fundamentally new approaches to computation such as reversible computing,
quantum computing, memristors, and the like that could yield a step change in the energy
footprint of data centers as they massively expand to support AI. This is an opportunity to be
part of a small and dynamic team innovating at the forefront of venture investing, catalytic
capital, and technology commercialization.
Primary responsibilities include:
● Supporting a General Partner with research and analysis to work on a “frontiers of
computing” thesis.
Qualifications:
● Commitment to addressing climate change through new technology.
● Pursuing or recently completed a master’s degree (including MBAs) and PhD. Electrical
Engineering and Computer Science background necessary.
● Interest and experience in frontiers of computing.
● Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and efficiency.
● Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
● Ability to work independently and take initiative on self-directed projects.
● Ability to represent Azolla Ventures with utmost professionalism and cultivate fruitful
relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
