Role Description
This is a remote internship opportunity for a Performance & Research Intern at Alpha Impact 8. The selected intern will support the company's Investment Team to collect and analyze investment data, provide research, insights, and support for the development of new investment strategies. The Performance & Research Intern will also be responsible for data management and creating reports
Qualifications
- Undergraduate with at least 70% of completed coursework in Finance, Economics, Business, or Statistics, or related disciplines
- Analytical and energetic personality with a passion for investments, startups, and financial markets
- Entrepreneurial drive, resilience, and a “getting things done” attitude
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, both in English & in Spanish (100% English is a must)
- Top performer who is comfortable operating in an unstructured environment
- Proactive self-starter, capable of understanding and adapting to new information at a rapid pace
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize workload effectively
- Availability to work between 25 & 30 hours per week
You will gain valuable experience in
- Investor Offering Materials – Responsibilities will include assisting with the creation of pitch decks and investor offering materials utilized by the firm
- Sector and Industry Research – Assist in startup Due Diligence and valuation process by reviewing sector and industry trends to evaluate the most attractive prospects and investments
- Outreach – Help identify, connect and build relationships with prospective investors and startups
- Financial Analysis – Responsibilities will include assisting in the review and creation of performance reports
- Exposure – Enter the startup ecosystem and learn how venture capital works
