We seek a top-performing college or graduate school student to join us in the Summer of 2025 for a venture capital internship opportunity (10 weeks). Ideal candidates have exhibited an interest in business, finance, entrepreneurship, or investing, as evidenced through coursework, previous internships, and co-curricular or extra-curricular activities. Applications are open to all undergraduate and graduate school students.
Reporting and Relationships
This role reports to the Managing Partner, Anna Mason. You will work actively with Investment Team member Mira Kaufman, who may also direct you on projects. The Investment team also periodically works in collaboration with other departments of Ingeborg, including Philanthropy, Public Policy, and Operations.
Role and Activity Detail
Our goal is for this internship to offer students interested in venture capture and entrepreneurship a strong foundational experience in the industry. Part of that learning curve also includes contributing to the team’s work in tangible and meaningful ways.
Research Projects (70%)
The majority of your summer internship experience will focus on value-add research projects that will be used to further and inform the team’s investment work. View existing Ingeborg research HERE.
Assist in Deal Flow Diligence & Special Projects (30%)
Join the investment team for live calls/zoom meetings with entrepreneurs who are actively fundraising.This will offer a live window into the world of venture capital and entrepreneurship. Expect to participate in a minimum of 2 pitch meetings/per week.
