Untapped Ventures is seeking a highly motivated individual with a profound interest in these domains to join our internship program as a Sourcing Analyst. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in AI-focused venture capital and to play a key role in sourcing innovative startups.

Are you a natural networker with a passion for connecting with people? Can you attend startup events, conferences, and demo days regularly to discover fresh investment opportunities? This role involves sourcing innovative founders and startups, staying on top of the latest trends, and building relationships within the San Francisco tech ecosystem. Your ability to represent Untapped Ventures at events is critical to success in this role.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be based in San Francisco and plugged into the local VC/startup ecosystem.
• At least 1 venture-backed tech startup experience.
• At least 3 months of VC/Startup experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
• This is a position that requires someone with enough experience in the AI startup space to have very strong judgment but also a startup mentality with a thirst for knowledge and responsibility.
• Individuals should have strong oral and written communication skills.
• Analysts must also have demonstrated superior presentation and business writing capabilities.
• Some VC experience is preferred.

COMPENSATION

This is an unpaid, remote internship that will start in Jan 2025. It will require a committment of 10+ hrs/week for 120-days.

Please note that any salary range or compensation details entered on the job post are due to system requirements for listing purposes only and do not apply to this internship opportunity. The $1000-$2000 will cover any accrued costs when attending events or for travel expenses.
