Location: New York, NY

Duration: Up to 12 Months (4 month minimum commitment)

Commitment: Part-time, in-person position.

Compensation: $25/hour to $35/hour 20 to 30 hours/week depending on skills, qualifications and experience.

Overview

Remarkable Ventures is seeking an exceptional paid Investor Relations Associate Intern to join our team in growing our funds; Remarkable Ventures (RV) and Remarkable Ventures Climate (RVC). Experience with investment banking, management consulting, asset management, or investor relations experience preferred.

About RV and RVC:

RV invests in high-potential Seed and Series A stage tech companies. RVC invests in early-stage climate tech companies working to decarbonize the enterprise and speed the transition to a zero-carbon future for the world's largest industries. We are investing in remarkable founders at the early stage (Seed - Series A) with RV and RVC.

RVC’s focus is decarbonizing the enterprise across a few sectors. The sectors we are focusing on are Energy Transition, Climate Fintech, Built Environment, Mobility, Manufacturing, and AgTech.

Our funds build on our firm's 13-year experience in early-stage investing. Prior Remarkable Ventures funds have invested in 110+ companies to date (Series Seed, A, and B), and Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator (ERA) has invested in 360 companies to date. Our portfolio includes four unicorns (so far), has raised more than $2B, and is collectively worth more than $10B. Our founders are already playing leading roles in the evolution of virtually every major global industry.

Job Description:

The Paid IR Associate Intern will join the RV/RVC teams. This is a part-time, in-person position. The role requires participation in several different investment-related activities. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the venture capital industry, investor relations, and fundraising processes.

  • Communication Support: Assist in preparing and editing investor communications, including newsletters, reports, and presentations.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update the investor database, ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of information. This includes maintaining and updating the fund’s data room, and ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accessible for prospective and existing investors.
  • Market Research: Conduct research on market trends, portfolio companies, and industry benchmarks to support investor inquiries and presentations.
  • Event Coordination: Help organize investor meetings, events, and webinars, including logistics, materials preparation, and follow-up.
  • Reporting: Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual performance reports for investors. This includes collaborating with the investment team to gather portfolio updates and performance metrics.
  • Social Media and Content Creation: Support the marketing team in creating content for our website, social media, and other platforms to enhance investor engagement.
  • General Support: Provide administrative support to the Investor Relations team as needed.

What we are looking for:

  • Intellectually curious self-starter with demonstrable interest in startups, and venture capital.
  • Mission-driven to solve some of the greatest challenges of our generation.
  • A college degree and 2+ years of prior work experience required.
  • Experience in venture capital preferred.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
  • Ability to produce "presentation-ready" memos, reports, & financial analyses.
  • Strong Excel skills; bonus points for PowerPoint and Keynote skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative problem-solving ability.
  • Relentless attention to detail
  • Drive and disposition to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and data management is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, with a proactive and results-oriented attitude.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
