We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team at Monk’s Hill Ventures as a Corporate Development Intern. You will be part of our Platform team, reporting to our Corporate Development team, where you will support our portfolio companies by assisting in performing financial analysis and building a database. This internship requires a foundational understanding of corporate finance and accounting.

What You’ll Do:
Create system processes and improvements Support in company financial analysis to provide inputs internally for the partners and portfolio management team’s decision-making. Help manage data upkeep, maintain quarterly updates to the portfolio company valuation model and other necessary analysis collaterals.
What We Are Looking For:
• Current enrollment in a degree program in Business/Finance/Accounting or a related field.
• Strong numerical, financial, analytical, and modeling skills based on a developing understanding of financial statements.
• Proficiency in MS Excel for financial modeling and analysis, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong presentation and slide creation skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
• Ability to exercise structured thinking and have attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous internship experience or coursework related to corporate development in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, consulting, or accounting is preferred but not required.
