We are seeking a highly motivated Associate to join our San Francisco Bay Area team. This role focuses on early and growth-stage investments in infrastructure software, including (but not limited to) developer tools, data platforms, AI/ML infrastructure, security, and increasingly, AI-enabled applications.
Over our 40-year history, Battery Ventures has partnered with some of the most iconic infrastructure companies, including AppDynamics, Splunk, Datadog, Confluent, Databricks, and Postman, and this is a chance to join the team behind many of those investments.
Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of experience in investing, corporate development, or investment banking/consulting. They have a high degree of grit and drive and are eager to work across the entire deal cycle, from sourcing and execution to portfolio support. We are a lean team and this is a career track opportunity with significant potential for growth.
