Investor Relations Associate

POSITION SUMMARY:
B Capital is looking for an Investor Relations Associate to support the firm’s fundraising efforts. The role represents the opportunity to work with B Capital’s Head of Strategic Relationships to drive top-of-funnel outreach to investors through meetings, conferences and events. The IR Associate will be primarily responsible for supporting investor engagement, including attending and documenting investor meetings and conferences, engaging in investor outreach and updating the CRM. The IR Associate will also support the broader IR team on materials preparation, due diligence requests from potential investors and other IR operational responsibilities.
BASIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supporting investor engagement by the Head of Strategic Relationships:some text
- Attending and taking notes at investor meetings and conferences, engaging in investor outreach and updating the CRM
- Planning, preparation and implementation of various investor conferences and events
- Prepping leadership for meetings and speaking roles
- Supporting the operational needs of the broader IR Team:some text
- Collaborating with investment and finance teams to complete due diligence requests
- Managing the investor CRM database and various platforms while maintaining high accuracy of data through extensive quality checking procedures
- Supporting various initiatives in building out processes and infrastructure for the Investor Relations function
BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree with a strong GPA from an accredited four-year institution
- Ideally 1-2 years of experience in investor relations or business development at an asset manager, financial institution or placement agent
- Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word

The salary range is $100,000 - $130,000 and will commensurate according to relevant experiences.
