Role Overview:

As the Crypto Investment Lead at EcoEquity, you'll spearhead cryptocurrency fundraising efforts and steer strategic direction in the crypto space. Reporting to the executive team, you'll develop tailored fundraising strategies, lead token sales, manage investor relations, conduct due diligence, negotiate terms, and coordinate events while staying abreast of market trends.

You'll oversee the entire token sale process, from conception to execution, setting targets, crafting compelling pitch decks, and engaging with potential investors. Ensuring alignment with the company's ethos, you'll conduct meticulous due diligence on investors, negotiate terms, and collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to track progress and provide regular updates to the executive team and board.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute fundraising strategies: The senior associate will work closely with the executive team to develop comprehensive fundraising strategies tailored to the company's needs and market conditions.
  • Lead token sale initiatives: Take ownership of the entire token sale process, from planning and preparation to execution and follow-up. This includes setting fundraising targets, creating investor pitch decks, and managing investor outreach campaigns.
  • Build and maintain investor relationships: Cultivate relationships with potential investors, including venture capital firms, angel investors, and high-net-worth individuals. Provide timely updates and information to investors to maintain their interest and engagement.
  • Conduct due diligence: Evaluate potential investors to ensure alignment with the company's mission, values, and investment criteria. Conduct thorough due diligence on prospective investors to assess their credibility and financial capacity.
  • Negotiate investment terms: Lead negotiations with investors to secure favorable investment terms for the company. This includes negotiating valuation, equity stakes, token allocation, and other investment terms.
  • Coordinate fundraising events: Organize and host fundraising events, including investor meetings, roadshows, and conferences. Prepare presentation materials and coordinate logistics to ensure successful events.
  • Stay informed about market trends: Monitor cryptocurrency markets, regulatory developments, and investor sentiment to inform fundraising strategies and decision-making. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in token sales and fundraising.
  • Collaborate with internal teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, legal, finance, and product development, to ensure alignment and coordination throughout the fundraising process.
  • Track and report progress: Maintain accurate records of fundraising activities, investor interactions, and fundraising metrics. Provide regular reports and updates to the executive team and board of directors on fundraising progress and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Extensive network and contacts in the crypto industry, capable of providing leads and connections for token sales and investor engagement.
  • At least 3 years of experience specifically in fundraising for crypto projects, with a demonstrated ability to navigate the complexities of the crypto market.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies tailored to specific project needs and market conditions.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable investment terms for the company.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate the company's vision, mission, and investment opportunity to potential investors.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong drive to achieve fundraising goals and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, legal, finance, and product development, to ensure alignment and coordination throughout the fundraising process.
  • In-depth knowledge of cryptocurrency markets, regulatory frameworks, and investor sentiment, with the ability to stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
  • Experience in conducting due diligence on prospective investors to assess their credibility and financial capacity.
