We're seeking a New Ventures Lead who understands the intricate journey of turning complex ideas into viable businesses. If you've lived the startup experience; navigating uncertainty, building from first principles, and transforming vision into reality, we believe this role is for you.

This is an opportunity to leverage your deep operational expertise in identifying meaningful healthcare problems and developing scalable solutions that create genuine market value. We're looking for a builder who sees beyond traditional boundaries and can guide early-stage ventures with strategic insight and hands-on execution.

What You’ll Do:

• Drive portfolio opportunities from concept to validation by owning product and business strategy, de-risking ventures through rigorous business model design, researching the competitive landscape, and assessing market dynamics
• Deploy new ventures on time and within budget with strong success signals (sales, user growth, investor interest)
• Manage projects and vendor relationships to produce phase deliverables
• Develop ideal founder profiles per portfolio company and assist the studio’s Talent Partner with recruitment
• Enable a smooth transition of mature portfolio companies to founding teams
• Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory updates and industry events
• Source and develop ideas through personal and Studio networks
• Cultivate domain expertise within your assigned squad and contribute cross-functionally
• Enable collaboration across technology, UX, and specialist teams
• Liaise and network with investors, advisors, industry leaders, and other key stakeholders

What You’ll Bring:

• Prior experience within a startup as a founding team member or early stage hire
• Experience in healthcare business development, strategy, or product development
• Skills in iterative discovery, design, development, and delivery
• Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research
• Experience in business model development and financial modeling
• Strong pitch deck design and delivery skills
• Systems-thinking mindset
• Strong emotional intelligence with an ability to influence diverse stakeholders and inspire others
• Commitment to supporting underserved populations and solving nuanced healthcare challenges

Our compensation range for this opportunity is $120,000 - $135,000 per year, which reflects our current stage of growth, and is offset by unique equity participation. Early team members receive meaningful fund carry, positioning you to share directly in the success of the ventures we launch. Beyond financial upside, you're participating in transformative solutions with outsized potential for social impact.
