TEDCO was created by the Maryland General Assembly in 1998 to foster the growth of early stage technology and life sciences companies throughout the state of Maryland. Our overarching mission is to provide various business consultation programs, networking opportunities, and assistance with funding to help organizations to grow and to thrive.
Position Overview:
The Ecosystem and Equitech Manager will play a pivotal role in managing state and federal grant programs and supporting initiatives that foster an inclusive and thriving tech ecosystem in Maryland. Reporting to the Ecosystem Director, this individual will oversee grant management, reporting, and compliance while building strong relationships with grantees and Entrepreneur Support Organizations (ESOs) across Maryland. This role is suited for a dynamic professional who excels in grant oversight, project management, stakeholder engagement, and driving measurable outcomes aligned with TEDCO’s mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee State and Federal grant programs, ensuring compliance with grant requirements and guidelines.
- Prepare and submit timely and accurate grant reports.
- Collaborate with the Ecosystem Director, Venture Development, and other team members to achieve program goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with grantees, ESOs, government entities, and industry leaders to enhance ecosystem collaboration.
- Support operational management of initiatives focused on inclusivity and innovation.
- Monitor and evaluate program outcomes, providing data-driven insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in managing grant programs.
- Strong understanding of State and Federal grant processes and requirements.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including ESOs, government agencies, and community partners.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in analyzing data, measuring impact, and producing actionable insights.
- Based in Maryland.
- Passion for fostering innovation, inclusivity, and sustainability in tech ecosystems.
- Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneDrive.
- Virtual meeting applications like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet

Additional Information:
This is a full-time, grant-funded position with a salary range of $110,000 - $120,000 and a full benefits package. The continuation of the role is contingent upon continued funding.
