We are now seeking an experienced Investment Manager to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to support companies at the intersection of science and industry while working in a globally recognized environment. As a key driver of science-based entrepreneurship in Sweden, you will play a vital role in building the society of the future.

Who we are looking for

You should be driven by curiosity and a passion for discovery, with a desire to understand how today’s science lays the foundation for tomorrow’s technologies and cutting-edge industries. To succeed in this role, you must have a genuine interest in supporting innovation from academic environments, as well as a broad knowledge base in technology, science, and innovation. You should also have a strong business acumen and be motivated by commercial success both within individual companies and at the portfolio level. The position requires an ability to quickly grasp new innovations, navigate complex market dynamics, collaborate with scientists and entrepreneurs, and execute and manage investments.

We are looking for the following skills and qualifications in our candidate:

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Economics, or a related field
• Project management experience throughout the entire investment cycle in Venture Capital
• Experience in board and strategy development in high-tech companies
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Swedish and English

The following experiences are considered advantageous:

• Specific experience with early-stage companies in research-driven environments
• Experience working with patents and/or evaluating patent portfolios

About the role

As Investment Manager, your role will include:

• Building networks, collaborating with, and earning the trust of scientists, entrepreneurs, investors, industry leaders, and other key stakeholders
• Staying continuously informed about new innovations, technology, science, and industrial dynamics, while regularly analyzing and exploring investment opportunities and market sectors
• Conducting in-depth assessments of high-tech startups, preparing decision-making materials for investments, and executing transactions
• Engaging in board work and strategy development for growth-phase companies, including project management of follow-on investments and exits

The role is based in central Stockholm.
