Job Profile and Skills
Finance Manager will be primarily responsible for the preparation of monthly financial statements together with management information, quarterly and year-end financial statements in conformity with the rules of the CSE and SLAASMB, financial reporting to the parent company, liaison with the company's auditors, tax advisors and company secretaries, management of the company's treasury portfolio of investments and general office administration.
The selected candidate must be analytical, have a flair for detail, thrive under pressure, keep to strict deadlines and should be a team player who can work in an environment comprising a small group of well-knit professionals of multi-disciplinary background. Experience in the usage of QUICKBOOKS accounting package would be a distinct advantage.
The candidates are expected to be good communicators and an important criterion of selection will be the ability to speak and write well in English.
Qualifications & Experience
With potential for personal and professional growth, this role will suit a member from a recognized accounting body (CA Sri Lanka/CIMA/ACCA) and/or a graduate in accounting from a recognised university, with at least seven years of post-qualifying experience.
