Who Are We Looking For?

Powerhouse Ventures is hiring an Operations Associate to serve as a key member of our team. By providing critical support across administrative, operational, event, and marketing and communications initiatives, this role will enable the continued efficiency and growth of Powerhouse Ventures. This role is ideal for a climate-passionate, highly-organized, detail-oriented, proactive individual who is an excellent communicator and who is excited to spearhead multiple important projects and priorities across the fund. The Operations Associate will work directly with the senior leadership at Powerhouse Ventures as well as with founders, Limited Partners (LPs), other investors, and more as part of the Powerhouse Ventures ecosystem.

This role will not be involved in investment processes or decisions, but will support the team across key areas.

What You’ll Be Working On

• Executive Support (50%)
  • Provide executive support including, scheduling, travel, email management, and more
  • Support speaking engagements research, preparation, and logistics
    
• Operations (50%)
  • Lead planning and logistics for events, including our quarterly offsites, annual retreat, annual investor meeting, and more
  • Lead monthly and quarterly LP reporting, as well as annual impact reporting
  • Support marketing and communications initiatives, and lead execution to key stakeholders, media, and social media
  • Lead our conference and event attendance strategy
  • Lead various strategic and operations initiatives
  • Support Human Resources with operations and hiring logistics
  • Office management
  • Other duties as assigned

About You

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 1-2 years of relevant full-time experience
• Experience with marketing and communications
• Experience with event planning and event logistics

Demonstrated skills

• Extremely organized and detail-oriented
• Excellent communication skills and high EQ
• Ability to work autonomously and proactively
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment on a small team
• Ability to manage multiple, high-priority projects and work streams simultaneously
• Passion for working in climate tech

Compensation

The target salary range for this position is $75K-$80K. Competitive pay will be offered commensurate with qualifications, and competitive benefits will be provided including comprehensive medical plans, 401(k) plan, flexible time off, and an annual professional development budget.
