We’re seeking a proactive Community, Communications and Project Manager to help us build and maintain our strong network as a distinct advantage within the investor space. You will be a key part of both our communication and event initiatives, supporting our founders, partners, and entrepreneurs by creating a cohesive, vibrant, and meaningful network experience. You should be interested in networking, and your personality combines a warm character with good communication and organizational skills.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will:
- Engage and grow the 10x Founders network: Cultivate connections within our network, organizing exclusive and impactful events that serve as a platform for our founders, partners, and investors to connect and exchange insights; set up, manage and develop our network communication channels (e.g. newsletters, updates, LinkedIn, forums, polls, report, Slack and WhatsApp groups, etc.).
- Support planning and lead the execution of unique, high-impact events (big and small) that celebrate 10x Founders’ “Magic of Many”: Coordinate exclusive dinners, workshops, and founders & investor meet-ups to strengthen our community ties, ensuring they remain memorable and on-brand. Support the team in ensuring the right people from our network attend the right events, keeping our internal CRM up to date
- Support the Head of Communications & Branding in researching, developing and synthesizing content, including social media posts, presentation materials, podcast and interview preparations, and newsletters, aligned with our brand voice and vision. This includes potential brand refinements, communications guidelines, etc.
- Foster network engagement through communication and storytelling: Generate and share perspectives on trends, founder successes, and portfolio updates to enhance community engagement and brand recognition.
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in community building, event planning and management, project management, or communications
- Required: start-up industry experience, e.g. within a fast-paced startup, tech or startup PR agency, tech, or VC environment
- Proven experience in end-to-end management of events, from concept to execution
- Strong content creation/development skills, including experience with social media, presentations, and written communication (but no copywriting experience required).
- Ideally some experience with CRM systems
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with an ability to handle multiple projects and pivot as needed
- A genuine interest in venture capital, startups, and building strong communities
