We are hiring a Vice President level investment professional to join our team in Paris. This position offers a significant growth opportunity for a senior associate with deal experience and a strong local network to take on more responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

You will work as an integral member of a lean investment team, primarily supporting senior members of the team with the end-to-end investment process:

• Source and evaluate potential investment opportunities within the healthcare technology space, conducting comprehensive due diligence, including market research, financial analysis, and competitive assessments.
• Build investment thesis, prepare investment memos for internal review and decision-making, including developing financial models to support investment decisions, support deal execution and closing process
• Monitor and support the performance of portfolio companies, ‎assist in the preparation of fund update and valuation reports

You are also expected to interact with the healthcare and technology startup and investment ecosystem and be knowledgeable about the key players, keeping abreast of relevant external market developments and contributing in knowledge building in specific subsectors.

Key requirements:

• 6-8 years of consulting, investment banking, operating and/or VC experience in the healthcare technology space
• Intellectual curiosity and deep understanding of technology trends, market dynamics, business models, and go-to-market strategies in healthcare, especially in diagnostics, life science tools, medical devices, digital health, and AI.
• A technical background is an imperative, with at least an undergraduate degree in biological sciences, engineering, or medicine. Advanced degrees (e.g. MS, PhD, MD, DVM) are a plus.
• Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, capable of taking initiative, working independently and as part of a team, demonstrating high emotional maturity and intelligence
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English, working proficiency in French
